HOW REPAIR WORKS

Here at VTG, we start off the repair process with disassembly, cleaning, and degreasing. Our team of experts will then inspect for any imperfections, impurities, stress cracks, etc. Once we conclude our inspection, our experts will start machining, fabricating, honing, and grinding with our state-of-the-art equipment. We will then reseal and prep for paint and shipping, all with our extensive 24-month warranty!

  • Fabricate the gland ring and inner guide sleeve with bearing bronze back to OEM using our precise machining capabilities.
  • Replace the old seal with Chesterton Super Monoseal. The abrasion-resistant design provides outstanding performance for all hydraulic applications.
  • Build up and machine wall guides to new clearances.
  • Fabricate a slide guide with bearings in bronze.
  • Fabricate and machine pistons with 1018 cold roll steel, grind hard chrome plates, and grind to the finished size.
